Luciana Canning
Child and Adolescent Therapist
I believe every child deserves a space where they can play, express, and grow—without pressure to perform, mask, or fit into someone else’s expectations.
-
You may be noticing that your child experiences the world in a more intense, sensitive, or deeply thoughtful way—and lately, it feels like the expectations around them keep getting louder. Maybe they’re struggling with big emotions, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, school stress, social dynamics, or major life transitions. They might appear “fine” to others, but you see how hard they’re working to hold it together. I support children and teens who are neurodivergent—including autistic kids, those with ADHD, sensory processing differences, and other unique learning or emotional needs—by offering a warm, affirming space where they can express themselves through play and connection. Using a child-centered, attachment-informed approach, I help kids build emotional regulation, confidence, and coping skills while collaborating with caregivers to support the whole family.

I specialize in providing neuro-affirming, child-centered play therapy for children ages 3–12, supporting concerns such as emotional regulation, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, and neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism).
