You can’t quite remember a time when your child wasn’t dealing with hospitals, procedures, or hard questions no child should have to ask. Maybe it was one medical event, or maybe it’s been years of living with a chronic illness—but either way, something about it still lingers. They might seem fine on the outside, but you can tell something’s not quite right. And maybe neither of you realize just how deeply it’s affected them.
I help kids who’ve experienced medical trauma, grief, or chronic illness feel more understood, more secure, and more in control. Using play-based, evidence-informed therapy, I help them process what they’ve been through, build resilience, and get back to being a kid.

I specialize in kids ages 3-13 who are struggling with anxiety, grief, or trauma related to a chronic illness.

I have training in play therapy, EMDR, and Synergetic Play Therapy. I have over 12+ years working with children impacted by illness.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. I am a Certified Child Life Specialist and Registered Wonders and Worries Provider.
